STYLE GUIDES
When I'm not writing UX content, I'm usually building knowledge bases or creating style guides. At RMS, I was brought on as a UX Content Lead, but the company was also in need of a new style guide to govern how staff writers should create internal documentation and public-facing content. I built an entirely new, modern guide with the intent on giving the company a voice and tone similar to a "friendly college science professor" archetype. The result ended up being around 60+ articles, built in the Prismic, a headless CMS. Later, the guide was migrated into another CMS, Zeroheight, and rebuilt using that service's WISYWIG tool set.
The samples below are plucked from both CMS iterations of the guide, so you can jump back and forth between them and compare. Click the thumbnails for larger versions. Use your arrow keys to step through them.
